Members of Yeo & Yeo’s Government Team provide auditing, accounting, assurance and consulting services for over 130 government and not-for-profit organizations.

David Youngstrom is a Principal in charge of audits performed in the firm’s Saginaw, Alma and Midland offices. Besides leading the Governmental Services Team, he is a member of the firm’s Audit and Education Teams. His expertise lies in performing auditing and assurance services for governmental units, school districts, small to medium size businesses, construction contractors, manufacturing, and transportation companies. He also provides consulting services related to tax planning, general ledger, budgeting, internal control systems, and other special projects.

Mr. Youngstrom is a member of the Association of School Business Officials International, Governmental Financial Officers Association, Michigan Association of School Boards, Michigan Government Finance Officers Association - Accounting Standards Committee, and Michigan School Business Officials. He is a frequent presenter at MACPA Governmental Accounting & Auditing Conferences. He is treasurer for the United Way of Saginaw County and treasurer for Freeland Community School District.
